Party Updates

Ladies and Gentlemen: Our party is happening tomorrow rain or shine. If you don't feel like getting rained on, cruise here in your car - we'll have plenty of parking. Don't want to get wet partying, well we have plenty of indoor space if the rain gods decide to punish us. No matter what, it will be a great time for all!

Getting Here: Find Pearl Street from downtown Boulder. Head east. Pass under Foothills Parkway. Take second left onto 47th Street. That's a left in front of the Toyota Dealership. Heading north on 47th you'll pass Old Pearl St. Take your next right in front of the green warehouse with other companies such as Ripstop Repairs, Rock and Resole, East of Sweden, and 303 Vodka. We are on the south east side corner of that building. There is parking along Old Pearl if you bring a vehicle. Otherwise cruise your bike right up to the party. Map below.

Just want to reiterate that this will be a super fun event with food, booze, film and fashion show. The film is Freedom Riders. The fashion is Prenebula, Malin B., and Green Guru. The booze is Upslope, Boulder Beer, PBR and 303 Vodka. The debauchery is eminent. Let's party on!

Greener by Design

Our President Davidson Lewis recently traveled to California to speak at the Greener by Design conference during the Innovators' Showcase. William McDonough of Cradle to Cradle fame, Tom Szaky of TerraCycle, and many other like minded speakers described their techonologies and techniques to like minded innovators.

GreenerDesign has a great article with a brief glimpse of Davidson's presentation on reclamation, and sustainable manufacturing. Each speaker had a short time to describe their unique eco-ideal process. They even mentioned our intra-office term for our partners who are both our suppliers and customers - supplustomer.

Denver Green Festival '09

Come down and hang out with the Gurus on the 2nd and 3rd of May for the first annual Denver Green Festival! The Green Fest folk nailed the decision in which Denver would be the next location for this great event. It fits right in with the local modus operandi as the Denver and surrounding communities promote and adhere to so many green initiatives. With our Seattle Green Festival success, there was a 10% increase in attendance, let's see if we can make this the largest Green Festival of this year! So grab some friends, your family, or co-workers and come on down for a fun time with great speakers, companies, and organizations to learn from!

Denver Green Festival, May 2 & 3. Part educational speakers series and part sustainable marketplace, Green Festival celebrates what's working in our community for people, business and the environment with 125 renowned speakers and how-to workshops, 300 socially and environmentally responsible nonprofit organizations and businesses, kids' and teen activities, live local music and delicious organic beer, wine and cuisine. Freedom Rides On

In the dark shroud of night, one can hear the clang of shovels digging through rocky soil, the crack of PBR cans, and the huff of hard breathing from freeride trail builders.

These biking ninjas, in the past, have had to quickly and silently build out their lines before 'the man' brings them down by felling trees across trails. Today, they no longer face these difficulties as they have partnered with the US Forest Service to build the most sustainable and sweet lines through insane terrain around the US.

We are proud to be a sponsor of the documentary and action sports film Freedom Riders, which details the progression and faces of the sport. Our friends at KGB Productions and Gravnetic have done a great job developing the film and will release it at the 2009 Sea Otter Classic. We are super psyched to be a part of their freeride revolution!

Check out the killer trailer to see how the men and women of freeride have made their sport an excellent and sustainable adventure for adrenal gland junkies.

While you're browsing, take a look-see at one of our latest additions: the Travel Kit!

It's our take on your classic Dop kit, toiletry bag, and cosmetics case. This cool little bag has mountain bike inner tubes gracing the exterior and a tough recycled PETE interior. Very sleek, sustainable and made in the USA!
